*After posting about this on social media, I felt as though I needed to document this injustice for my future pleasure.*

Our last day at the beach was super gloomy, so I spent most of the day studying in our condo while everyone else went bowling and to the arcade. {Hashtag: Nerd Alert}🤓

After hours of reading, I decided to take a lunch break and make a PBJ– I think it’s worth mentioning that this was not your regular, every day sandwich. I may have even venture to say that this exact ratio of ingredients is being served by angels on trays of clouds as you stroll through the pearly gates of heaven.

Anyway, before sitting to enjoy my freshly made delicacy, I went to go pee (is that even politically correct to say on the internet?) Anyway, I was gone MAYBE 1 minute.

When I walked back into the kitchen, there was

a pigeon.

LITERALLY eating my PBJ!!!!!!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱😱

I naturally almost went into cardiac arrest and screamed bloody murder. The winged villain knew he (or she) was caught and started flapping around the room before quickly finding the opening in the balcony door– this clearly wasn’t the first time he had to make a quick escape such as this!! I mean, this crime was clearly premeditated!

I just stood there for what felt like forever, frozen in disbelief.. trying to process the fact that I had really walked in on a bird.

I would just like to say RIP to my soft Bunny bread, smooth Natural Jiff, and cool BlackBerry Smuckers. I’ll never forget you.
