•You don’t have to have it all together. It’s okay to fall apart some days. Walk past the dishes in the sink, trip over your shoes on the floor, and fall into bed on top of your unfolded laundry. I’ve been there. The important thing is to wake up tomorrow and make it better. Be better. Have a cup of coffee {{or glass of wine– no judgment}} and embrace the fact that you have been given LIFE today. Throw those clothes on de-wrinkle and BREATHE. Seriously, take a deep breath, look around and focus on what you have accomplished– not what you still need to accomplish. Your best is all you can give and trust me, it’s plenty.•

Aaaaand if you’re still feeling inadequate, check out the list of my, um, learning experiences. I keep up with them in something I like to call “Diary of A Dumb Blonde.”

1. I left my car running for 4 hours on accident one time. (And two hours a time before that).
2. I ended up in Florida when traveling from Georgia to Kentucky (long story for another day)
3. Sometimes when I go to pee at work, I realize my underwear are on backward.
4. I probably make at least 2 U-turns a day because I get distracted and forget where I’m going.
5. I once washed my cellphone with a load of laundry.
6. I’ve driven away from a gas pump without ever even pumping gas–(Paid, put the pump in my car, then put the pump right back up and drove away. Who does that…)
7.  I’ve also driven away from a gas pump with the pump STILL in my car.
8. [Far too often] I look down to notice I’ve only shaved one of my legs.
9. I have baked cookies that came out looking like lava rocks.
10. I once told a class of 4th graders that a gazelle was a bird. (Luckily, a kid corrected me, but I still maintain that a “gazelle” sounds like some type of bird.)
11. I almost caught my dorm room on fire by microwaving an Arby’s sandwich in its foil wrapper.
12. I’m so clumsy that I look like Bambi when I wear heels.
13. I paid “asking price” for my car because I didn’t understand the concept of negotiation.
14. Another concept I apparently never understood about cars was changing the oil. [which, yes, resulted in my car blowing up.]
15. I was on a cruise with my best friend and we missed half a day of our excursion because we saw water out one side of the ship and just thought it was a day at sea. [Always check your itinerary and also the windows on the other side of the ship to be sure.. Perspective is everything.😉]
16. I attempted to toast bread on my stove burner. (It doesn’t work, just fyi🤗)

Okay, I’m not one to encourage comparison whatsoever.. but if you’re having a bad day, just remember: at least you’re not me… I feel like that’s gotta count for something. 😂❤️
